Chromogenic Encyclia Tampensis

Created for Laguna Gardens, a new workforce housing complex designed by PALMA, Fisher’s polished aluminum sculpture iInitially reads as a monochromatic echo of the architecture. Throughout the afternoon, as the sun hits etched orchid shapes filled with chromodynamic paint, pops of color appear, shifting based on the movement of the sun and angle of the viewer.
