Rose McQuillan Art Center

Permanent installation at The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

As part of Miami-Dade County’s Art in Public Places, Fisher has completed six 13-foot friezes at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in 2015, the place where her father worked as a botanist for almost forty years and which continues to inspire her work. The architecture prominently features a frieze with flora and fauna native to South Florida, including an Everglades King Fisher bird dedicated to her father. It also displays two roses in honor of the work of the Rose McQuillan Art Center.
